General conditions of reservation

THERMAL WELLNESS HOTEL
1) The hotel room may be occupied on the day of arrival after 2 pm. Check-in is expected until 6 p.m. In case of no information about a late arrival (arrival after 6 pm), VADAŠ s.r.o (hereinafter referred to only as of the “hotel”) reserves the right to sell the room due to non-arrival.
2) The room must be vacated on the day of departure by 10 am. The guest is obliged to check out at the reception desk. If the room is not vacated by 10 a.m., the hotel may charge a fee up to 100% of the accommodation price per person/night. Having paid the fine, the guest is not entitled to any accommodation for the following night.
3) Access to the thermal swimming pool, water slides and indoor swimming pool (according to the current opening hours) on departure day is possible after checking out at the hotel reception and paying any arrears/bills for the room. The receptionist then reactivates the guest’s chip/entry card.
4) The price of accommodation includes VAT and a free breakfast.
5) Guests are entitled to the following free services – according to opening times of the facilities: entry to the wellness center (except on the day of departure, on the arrival day after 2 p.m.), entry to the thermal resort (from May 1 until September 21), entry to the indoor swimming pool and sauna (from September 22 until April 30, except on the day of departure), morning swimming, parking in front of the hotel on unguarded parking, 1 sunshade + 2 sunbeds per 1 room or apartment for every day of stay (from May 1 until September 21, except for the day of arrival), free WIFI. Sunshades are non-transferable, immovable, and situated by the hotel at a place determined in advance. Their exchange is not possible.
6) For the fee of EUR 10/car/night, the guest may additionally order a guarded parking lot, also meals in the hotel restaurant /lunch, dinner/ at the current price stated on the hotel´s website.
7) The restaurant´s opening times: daily from 7 am to 9 pm
- Breakfast is served: from 7 am to 10 am (at the restaurant on the ground floor) as buffet meals*
- Lunch is served: from 12 pm to 3 pm (at the restaurant on the ground floor) as a menu
- Dinner is served: from 6 pm to 8 pm (at the restaurant on the ground floor) as buffet meals*
- *If the number of guests is up to 10 persons, they are served as a menu
8) The chip entry card is activated for every person older than 3 years. Please return your card to the reception desk after your stay.
9) Penalty for unauthorised use of the accommodation card: In case of detection of unauthorised use of the accommodation card (the card is used to enter the VADAŠ Thermal Resort by an unauthorised person), the card will be removed and deactivated. The holder of the accommodation card will be charged a fine of EUR 50 and may receive a duplicate upon payment.
10) IT IS FORBIDDEN to bring to VADAŠ s.r.o. accommodation facilities for any pets (dogs, cats, etc.). Should the guest breach this ban, the Accommodation Provider reserves the right to terminate the guest’s stay immediately, without any entitlement to compensation / without refunding the remaining booking value/.
11) The guest is obliged to pay the value of the reservation in advance in the amount and within the period specified in the confirmation email. Without payment, the provider will consider it a lack of interest in the agreed accommodation and cancel the reservation. Paying via bank transfer, all bank fees are paid by the guest. Any differences arising from the conversion of exchange rates will be settled upon arrival.
12) Cancellation of an order after paying the first advance shall be subject to the cancellation fee:
- Cancel within 60 days or more before the date of arrival: 24 €
- Cancel within 45-59 days before the date of arrival: 25% of the accommodation value
- Cancel within 30-44 days before the date of arrival: 50% of the accommodation value
- Cancel within 15-29 days before the date of arrival: 75% of the accommodation value
- Cancel within 14 days before the date of arrival: 100% of the accommodation value
In the event of cancellation due to health reasons or death of a person who would have participated in the stay, upon presentation of the relevant confirmation, 10% of the order value.
VADAŠ s.r.o shall refund the credit-note sum to the guest by a transfer to the bank account, not in cash.
13) After booking a room, the guest shall receive a “booking confirmation”, specifying the required details and ordered services /the guest presents this booking confirmation when checking in/. If the guest was issued an invoice to settle an advance, he/she shall also send to the reception desk (reservation office) a notice of payment of the required value. Any ambiguities/discrepancies in the confirmation of receipt of the reservation shall be resolved by the guest /in writing/ well in advance of the date of arrival at the accommodation with the hotel reception, which will reconfirm the corrected reservation by email.
14) The guest is liable for any damage caused to the accommodation provider during their stay. Any damage incurred will be reimbursed to the accommodation provider in full upon check-out.
15) Found items are sent to the guest by mail upon written request, with the guest paying all associated costs. Found items are stored at the hotel for 1 month.
16) The hotel further regulates the stay of guests in the hotel and on the premises by the Accommodation Rules and Visiting Rules, which are binding for hotel guests without exception.
17) If individual provisions of these General Accommodation Conditions are or become ineffective or invalid, this shall not affect the effectiveness or validity of the other provisions.
18) The hotel is not liable for any injuries during the stay, only in cases where the provider acted grossly negligently or intentionally.
19) The hotel can only accommodate a guest who is duly logged in and registered in the accommodation system with the required information. To register, the guest is obliged to present to the receptionist a valid document (ID card, Passport, or driver’s license) in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, as amended. By providing personal data, the guest consents to their processing in the database and in the company’s information system. To ensure the protection of the personal data of accommodated clients, the company Vadaš s.r.o. Štúrovo processed security documentation, personal data are handled by persons instructed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
20) Every accommodated person who is not a citizen of the Slovak Republic is obliged, pursuant to the Act on the Residence of Foreigners, as amended, to provide the necessary data to fill out the “Residence Report” form for the Aliens Police. The guest is obliged to provide the data truthfully and completely.
21) The hotel is authorized to request from the guest to pay for the stay ad-hoc when checking in. It is authorized to request an advance up to 100% of the booking value when booking in advance.
22) In the time from 24.00 until 7.00 am the guest must observe the night silence, otherwise, the hotel reserves the right to terminate the stay immediately without the right to compensation (without the right to a refund of the unreleased value of the reservation).
23) The hotel shall be responsible for cash and valuable articles only in the case they are deposited in the hotel safe deposit box.
24) By delivering the email reservation to the reception or online reservation, paying the deposit for the stay or staying at the hotel, the customer confirms that he is aware of these conditions and agrees with their content.
25) A guest may be expelled from the accommodation facility and the resort area if, despite a warning, he violates the accommodation rules, night peace or other regulations, behaves unethically and contrary to good manners, or disobeys the instructions of the hotel staff. The expelled guest loses the right to a refund of the unspent value of the stay. If the guest does not voluntarily leave the premises of VADAŠ THERMAL RESORT or the hotel, the accommodation provider will request the intervention of members of the Slovak Police Force.
26) The reservation is valid only after a written (email order), confirmed by the reception, resp. reservation department or online reservation system.
27) Accommodation tax (city tax) is paid upon arrival in accordance with the valid rules of the city of Štúrovo.
APARTMENTS WESTEND
1) The apartments may be occupied on the day of arrival after 3 pm. The accommodation card is active from 9 a.m. (provides access to the pool area)
It is necessary to check in at the apartment’s reception desk (Nánanská Cesta) until 6 pm. In case the reception desk is closed, check in at the Wellness Hotel Thermal. If the guest fails to provide information about his/her late arrival (arrival after 6 pm, VADAŠ s.r.o – hereinafter referred to only as the “provider”) reserves the right to sell the room due to non-arrival.
2) The room must be vacated on the day of departure by 9 am. The guest is obliged to check out upon departure at the reception desk. In case of the guest´s late vacating of the room (after 9 am), the provider may charge the fee up to 100% of the accommodation price per person/night. Having paid the fee/fine, the guest is not entitled to any accommodation for the following night.
3) Access to the thermal swimming pool, water slides and indoor swimming pool / according to the current opening hours / on the day of departure is possible after checking out at the hotel reception and paying any arrears/bills for the room. The receptionist then reactivates the guest’s chip/entry card.
4) The price of accommodation includes VAT.
The Westend apartments have electronic door handles that can be unlocked with a PIN code. Before arrival, guests will receive an e-mail with a valid PIN code for the entire stay (validity of the code: on the day of arrival from 3:00 p.m., on the day of departure until 9:00 a.m.). The PIN code is sent to the e-mail address that was entered when booking the stay online, or from which the stay was booked in writing.
5) Guests are entitled to the following free services: entry to the thermal resort, entry to the indoor swimming pool and sauna (except on the day of departure), also morning swimming according to the opening times of the resort and the indoor swimming room/sauna/ stated on the website: www.vadasthermal.sk, parking on unguarded parking, 1 sunshade + 2 sunbeds per 1 room or apartment for every day of stay, except for the day of arrival, WIFI. Sunshades are non-transferable, immovable, and situated by the hotel at a place determined in advance. Their exchange is not possible.
6) Guests may additionally order meals in the hotel restaurant /breakfast, lunch, dinner/ at the current price stated on the hotel´s website.

- Breakfast is served: from 7 am to 10 am (at the restaurant on the ground floor) as buffet meals*
- Lunch is served: from 12 pm to 3 pm (at the restaurant on the ground floor) as a menu

8) The chip entry card is activated for every person older than 3 years. At the end of the stay, please return your card to the reception desk.
9) Penalty for unauthorized use of the accommodation card: In case of detection of unauthorized use of the accommodation card (the card is used to enter the VADAŠ Thermal Resort by an unauthorized person), the card will be removed and deactivated. The holder of the accommodation card will be charged a fine of EUR 50 and may receive a duplicate upon payment.
10) IT IS FORBIDDEN to bring to VADAŠ s.r.o. accommodation facilities for any pets (dogs, cats, etc.). Should the guest breach this ban, the Provider reserves the right to terminate the guest´s stay immediately, without the guest´s entitlement to compensation / without the guest´s entitlement to refunding the remaining booking value/.
11) The guest is obliged to pay the value of the reservation in advance in the amount and within the period specified in the confirmation email. In the event that he does not fulfill this obligation, the provider will consider it a lack of interest in the agreed accommodation, i. reservation cancelation. When paying by bank transfer, all bank fees are paid by the guest. Any differences arising from the conversion of exchange rates will be settled upon arrival.
12) Cancellation of an order after paying the first advance shall be subject to the cancellation fee:
- Cancel within 60 days and more before the date of arrival: 24 €
- Cancel within 45-59 days before the date of arrival: 25% of the accommodation value
- Cancel within 30-44 days before the date of arrival: 50% of the accommodation value
- Cancel within 15-29 days before the date of arrival: 75% of the accommodation value
- Cancel within 14 days before the date of arrival: 100% of the accommodation value
Cancel on the grounds of an illness, death in the family, hospitalization, etc. after presenting a medical certificate: 10% of the accommodation value
VADAŠ s.r.o shall refund the credit-note sum to the guest by a transfer to the bank account, not in cash.

If the guest was issued an invoice to settle an advance, he/she shall also send to the concerned reception desk advice on paying the required value. Any ambiguities/discrepancies in the book confirmation shall be discussed by the guest /in writing/ sufficiently in advance before the date of arrival with the hotel reception desk that will send him/her a corrected booking confirmation.
14) The guest shall be held responsible for the damage inflicted upon the provider during his/her stay. The guest shall compensate the hotel for the incurred damage in full when checking out.
15) Found things are sent to the guest by post upon his/her written request, while the guest shall settle all relating costs. Found things are stored at the Westend reception for the period of 1 month.
16) Guests´ stay at the apartments and on the provider´s premises are further regulated by the Accommodation Rules and the Rules for Visitors that are binding upon provider guests without any exception.
17) Should individual provisions of these General Accommodation Terms and Conditions be or become ineffective or invalid, that shall not affect the effect or force of the remaining provisions.
18) The provider is not be held liable for any potential injuries during one´s stay, only in the cases when the Accommodation Provider acts with gross negligence or deliberately.
19) The provider can only accommodate a guest who is duly logged in and registered in the accommodation system with the required information. To register, the guest is obliged to present to the receptionist a valid document (ID card, Passport, or driver’s license) in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, as amended. By providing personal data, the guest consents to their processing in the database and in the company’s information system. To ensure the protection of the personal data of accommodated clients, the company Vadaš s.r.o. Štúrovo processed security documentation, personal data are handled by persons instructed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

23) The ordering party confirms by delivering the booking to the reception desk, paying an advance for the stay, or accommodating the hotel that he/she is aware of these conditions and agrees with the content of the same.
24) Any accommodated guest may be expelled from the accommodation facility and from the resort premises, who, despite the warning, violates the accommodation regulations, night rooms, or other regulations, behaves unethically and in conflict with good morals, resp. does not obey the instructions of the hotel staff. The reported guest loses the right to a refund of the unsettled value of the stay. If the guest does not voluntarily leave the premises of VADAŠ THERMAL RESORT resp. the provider will ask for intervention by members of the Slovak police force.

CAMPING
1) The entrance to the camping is possible through Gate 1. The camping area is located on the left side (grass area behind the entrance to the area), in case of change, the guard service navigates. Unauthorized guests are not entitled to set up / stay in a place other than the one reserved. Guests arriving at the accommodation with a caravan, have reserved places / numbered plots where they can park their caravan (only outside the lawn). It is possible to park on the lawn with a caravan only in case of an exception granted by the provider. Parking (for a fee) is possible only in a reserved parking lot = outside the lawn (does not apply to guests who pay to stay on the marked plot).
2) Accommodation chip cards can be issued at the reception for camping – next to the wellness hotel Thermal max. until 8 p.m.
3) Accommodating camping is possible ONLY from 3 p.m.The accommodation card is active from 9 a.m. (provides access to the pool area)
4) On the day of departure it is necessary to vacate the plot (place by 12 a.m.). Subsequently, it is possible to park the car in the common parking lot in front of Vadaš Thermal Resort. Entry to the resort with an accommodation card is possible until closing time. If you wish to extend your stay, it is necessary to do so by 7 p.m. on the last evening of your stay. The stay is extended ONLY at the reception / next to the hotel /.
Fines for an unauthorized stay in the ATC area: In case of non-extension of stay until 7 p.m. on the last night and not leaving the plot until 12 a.m. you will be charged a fine for an unauthorized stay in the car camp in the amount of 50 EUR, then you are obliged to leave the premises. In case of finding an unauthorized stay in a caravan park on a lawn or on a plot, you will be charged for the unpaid night and at the same time you will be charged a fine of 50 EUR, then you are obliged to leave the complex. , caravan or caravan the larger area for which you paid, you will be charged the difference in the price for each night of occupying the lawn and a one-time fine of 50 EUR.
5) The price for accommodation includes accommodation in camping. For guests, there is FREE access to the thermal swimming pool / outdoor pool area within the opening hours of the swimming pool / and WIFI.
6) The guest is obliged to display in a visible place: / tent/caravan/car/motorbike… / clipping with the data he received at the reception so that he could prove the legitimacy of staying in the area in case of regular inspection by the guard service.

12) The guest handles the accommodation of the provider so that it does not damage them and block their use for other guests. The guest is liable for damages caused by negligence during the stay to the provider / Vadaš s.r.o. / is obliged to report them and pay them immediately at the relevant reception.
13) The general conditions of accommodation apply to guests in parallel with other valid internal regulations applicable to the accommodation of this type and regulations applicable to stay in Vadaš Thermal Resort. The validity of one of the regulations does not affect the validity of the other currently valid regulations/conditions.
14) Conditions displayed in a visible place / e.g. the reception, entrance to the premises, the website of the provider/guest accept and undertake to comply with the payment of the accommodation fee. Their ignorance of the guest does not justify in case of violation. The guest is obliged to inform in advance about the conditions of accommodation in the area of Camping of Vadaš s.r.o
15. Items found in the ATC area are not collected and stored.
16. The guests of the camping follow the instructions of the provider’s guard service.

Any accommodated guest may be expelled from the camping and from the resort premises who, despite the warning, violates the accommodation regulations, night rest, or other regulations, behaves unethically and in conflict with good morals, resp. does not follow the instructions of the staff of the Vadaš Thermal resort. The reported guest loses the right to a refund of the unsettled value of the stay. If the guest does not voluntarily leave the premises of VADAŠ THERMAL RESORT resp. camp, the provider will ask for intervention by members of the Slovak police force
